Christopher Nolan talks ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ at the Oscars

MTV caught up with Christopher Nolan on the red carpet at the Oscars last night. Of course Nolan wasn’t willing to talk much about The Dark Knight Rises, but did give some brief comments. While he wouldn’t say what the theme will be, he did say that when we see the movie we’ll know why he cast Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy. Will they be able to create iconic characters like Heath Ledger’s Joker? We’ll have to wait and see. I’m still looking to see if Anne Hathaway talked about Selina Kyle/Catwoman on the red carpet, I’ll be sure to post an interview if I find one.       Haha, that’s Nolan for ya! I love how the interviewer knew Nolan wouldn’t talk, so he asked some pretty interesting softball questions and still didn’t get much out of Nolan.

    Lol, Nolan always seems pretty reserved and sophisticated in his interviews but I loved his smugness in this one. That alone was worth it, hahaha!

    Just once, I’d love to see Nolan really mess with the fans and say something like “the new batsuit will have nipples on it” or “Batman will carry a credit card in his utility belt.”
