Minor accident on set of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ [Video]

The Dark Knight Rises began filming at Wollaton Hall late last week (see exclusive set photos here) and Batman-News.com reader Alex sent in a video he took from the scene. A big tractor-trailer, probably carrying equipment, crashed into the main entrance of Wollaton Hall. Thankfully, it appears like no one was injured from the crash. Welcome home, Bruce!

    Did anyone notice the “wrong way” sign on the wall? So, not only did the driver crash it, he was also going the wrong way?!?! That’s baaaaad…

      There have been signs up around the hall for a week or so now that HGV entrance is the Vehicle Exit, so he was right going in there , just cant drive and see massive walls, !!

      Wall fact – It took 7 men 7 years to build the wall around the park , and one idiot in an HGV 7 seconds to knock it over..

    Possible TDKR scene. A car is seen entering Wayne Manor, broken wall and all… Person (say, Miranda Tate) comes out. “Hey Bruce, wall’s broke” Bruce (with his care free playboy attitude): “Oh yeah… i rented the manor to some film studio that was filming and an equipment truck broke it… oh well, after the fire last year I;m getting used to it…”

      Yeah , i bet the Wallton Hall people , pretend that wall is hundreds of years old and has Historical importance , they will get every penny they can get from WB, infact i have heard this is the case and TDKR budget has had to reviewed , The new Batmobile design has had to be scaled back !

    I wonder if they crashed the wall at Mentmore Towers in 2004 with that becoming the reason why they weren´t allowed to shoot there this time around! :D
