Major ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ scene to shoot at Carnegie Mellon University

Beginning the last week of July, a major The Dark Knight Rises action scene will be filmed at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.     I dont realy see this as a spoiler , realy , at its core this is a crime movie , so Prisions and Gun fire and stand offs , all sound natural and exspected , and we dont know whos doing what ! But the possibility of BANE on a motorbike would be cool ! thats should me putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 , i am not saying that will be BANE .

    I don’t know why people fret about these so-called “spoilers”, who cares. If you follow Batman at all it’s common sense to believe that these scenes are going to take place in some capacity and really these so-called “spoilers” aren’t really spoilers at all, it’s not telling us what’s happening or giving away vital plot elements. Basically this is interesting information to know. Personally I like knowing where these shooting scenes are taking place and when so when I see the movie I have some background information.

    In all fairness, they had to warn their staff not be suspicious of, you know, certain things they might see.
    I’d rather have it stated clearly than have it whispered ear to ear with too much detail and have all these rumors popping up in headlines. Always ruins my spoiler-free day.

    Personally I think the less we know the better. Its hard to avoid spoilers when you are interested in Chris Nolan’s work as they are all over the web. I wish I would run into trailers and posters from this moment only. Really hard to resist sometimes!

    Maybe I’m a silly person but when it come to spoilers, unless it’s really serious I usually forget them. Come next July I’ll be so excited that until it happens, I won’t be able to anticipate what happens, mainly because Nolan movies are so intense and well done, I’m not bored or concerned enough to pull my thoughts away from the movie to really want to know what’s coming next.

    I did think it reminded be of Knightfall, which is really interesting and I’m particularly curious as to how they’ll use that material. But the scene seems pretty wicked nonetheless. Would be interesting to see Catwoman on a motorcycle, but I bet it’s just Bats on the batpod.

    I knew if this was my school, and I showed up to see the filming of ‘Mangus Rex’ and then Batman came out of nowhere, I’d be numb with sheer amazement. Jealousy is mine.

    Great tidbit. To be honest, a lot of people will not be surprised about the spoiler. It’s been suggested as the opening scene by fans many a time. And it would be cool as an opening scene!

    Really, I’m not that bothered by spoilers. Unless it’s something like “Ducard = Ra’s,” I don’t see it as a big thing. You can expect prisons, breakouts, gunfire, etc. in a Bat-film. It’s kind of common sense. 

    But really, I saw the leaked Joker pictures and the Two-Face concept art last time around, and I didn’t feel “cheated,” nor did it affect my intake of the movie — at least, not to a large degree. In reality, even with the spoilers, I had a few pieces of a very large, very complex puzzle. Knowing a couple of things didn’t give the ending away, nor did I leave the theater thinking, “Man, if I hadn’t known that, I’d have been even more blown away.”
