Big update on ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ in Pittsburgh

CBS Pittsburgh reported new details about The Dark Knight Rises shooting in their city later this month. There will be explosions, car chases, gunfire, and even some snow. They also mentioned what was reported earlier today, Heinz Field will be a part of the movie. Check out the embedded video after the break for more details.

    isnt this the most ignorant bit of reporting you’ve ever seen. it’s like the old days of the movies when people were grasping at any glance or new bits of Clark Gable or some other’s next big production. oh, wait, people don’t have more important things to do than this..that’s why ENews and the Kardashians (sp) are so popular. the reporter from his genuinely enthusiastic tone should say next ‘and the dog will jump through the hoop of fire next’! he saw ‘the bat mobile’? would he even know it if it drove up next to him? and why didn’t they just go ahead and report which hotel all the stars and Nolan and his crew will be staying in. giving the times and dates they are actually using? every fanboy within 1000 miles will be there with their phone cams…geez!

    Awesome!! Can’t even imagine how amazing this set piece will look when filming is all wrapped up. Could it possibly measure up to the one in TDK?? Would love to see a score-less sequence again as the aforementioned one.

    Just LOVE that there is going to be snow in Nolan’s Gotham this time around! I loved it in Batman Returns… something about Catwoman and Snow… speaking of… the anticipation of seeing her for the first time is KILLING ME. Yes, we did just get the poster and teaser, so hardly the time to complain… but man.. from July 19th 2008, I’ve been dying to see what Nolan would do with Catwoman ( i always believed she would be in the next film) and now that all this info is coming out, she really is the last big reveal.. .and I wants it!!

    Maybe during Comic Con the viral will kick up to reveal her and dominate the geekdom chatter?

    Wel I’m excited to see what Nolan’s interpretation of Catwoman is too! :D Bane looks fantastic so I have high hopes. And wasn’t it reported a while back that there has been a city shot of Pittsburgh covered in (real) snow? I think it would be cool to see snow in the final installment. And about the teaser trailer, I was surprised they had the title in black on a white background!

    Hey , everyone  seems like news is going to be a bit quite until monday , when the teaser is released , So i will throw this out there , what do you think the final scene / shot / image should be to close out Nolans trilogy ? Me , i would like to see Bruce in the Bat suit kneeling beside his parents grave , with somekind of monologue explaning , his reasons for The Batman , then we see the Bat signal in the distance , Batman stands up , and we zoom in on the Batman symbol on his chest , end , credits , just a thought .

    Just saw Deathly Hallows Part 2. When they showed the DKR trailer the whole audience clapped. Pretty awesome seeing it on a movie screen and actually being able to make out what’s happening.
