The Tumbler is back! ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ set photos & video from Pittsburgh

Well, there’s no sense in trying to hide it now. subaruwrxfan shot great 1080p video of three Tumblers driving to the set of The Dark Knight Rises in Pittsburgh. The Tumbler is sporting an unpainted camo look, as seen in Batman Begins. Lucious Fox did tell Bruce Wayne that there were more than one, and he’s certainly going to need a new one after The Joker destroyed the Batmobile in The Dark Knight. Check out some set photos of Gary Oldman and Marion Cotillard from yesterday, as well as the first photos from the prison riot scene that will be shooting today, after the break.     All three of those are different, with only one of them matching the Begins Tumbler.. Interesting.

      I bet the enemies, in some way, will use Batman’s very own weapons against him.. my guess is: these tumblers will be used by Bane!

      She is also supposed to be Miranda Tate(If she’s Talia).So you can’t judge based on only one photo.

    They’re different because they use them differently in filming, it’ll look the same as BB and TDK. One is used for close up shots with all the panels and details amd the actual jet engine in the back, ones very lightweight and minimal and used for speedy stuff and the heavy duty one is the one they actually bulldoze through stuff with. Hope they paint it black again, this might be just as Bruce gets the Tumbler back.

    Maybe Batman is not the only one with access to military hardware in this time around, Bane might have access to some toys too thanks to the LOS.

    As I recall there was a picture earlier of a black Tumbler and a batpod. So there is a 4th one and it’s black so now I want to know how they going to use all these Tumblers?

    This is getting better and better… this is the REAL shit, dudes!Well, lets see… 3 versions of the tumbler in camouflage pattern, almost sure they’ll be used by the enemies!Knightfall story arch will be clearly used here… Bane releasing prisioners not only from Arkhan, but from Gotham’s prison as well!Following the escalation logic, if the enemies use tumblers, Batman must use something bigger… a chopper?

    i’m just guessing each tumbler looks a little bit different , maybe the bad guys got there hands on  some of bats eguipment, if so bats in trouble and i like it :)

    The Tumbler’s cool, but with it being destroyed in the last movie, this was the perfect time to have a new batmobile. Too bad!!!

    My theories? Here goes:
     
    Theory nº1 – Talia, infiltrated in Wayne Enterprises as Miranda Tate gets the proto-tumblers right out of Fox´s nose and hand them over to Bane and his gang as we clearly see Bane standing on top of one…
     
    Theory nº2 – Until we see the 3 in action at the same time we can speculate if they have diferent configurations for the sole purpose of filming like an Imax camera mounted on top of the Tumbler for example…
     
    My instint leads me more to the first theory, I believe we will have the battle of the Tumblers on TDKR!
