Hong Kong collectible figure manufacturer, Hot Toys, released a teaser image of Bane from their upcoming The Dark Knight Rises line. Hot Toys produces very high quality 1/6th scale figures and Bane will go on sale in just a few months. The toy maker also released a brief plot synopsis from the film:
The Legend Ends. The terrorist leader Bane will arrive in Gotham City, pushing it and the police force to their limits, forcing Batman to resurface after taking the fall for The Joker’s crimes. The Dark Knight Rises movie will be coming this Summer and this Bane Collectible Figure will be launched in coming months before movie launches! Batman fans, please stay tuned!
We know that The Dark Knight Rises takes place 8 years after The Dark Knight. The English isn’t perfect, and I think you can include Harvey Dent’s crimes in there too… but does Batman take a full 8 year break? Leave your own interpretation in the comments below.
