Jason Momoa’s ‘Aquaman’ gets a new writer

Warner Bros. reportedly hired two screenwriters to pen competing Aquaman scripts last year, but it appears that they weren’t happy with either of them. According to The Hollywood Reporter, David Leslie Johnson has been brought in to write the movie now.

Johnson’s writing credits include Wrath of the Titans and Red Riding Hood. But most notably, he wrote The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist, which Aquaman director James Wan is also directing.

Aquaman starring Jason Momoa hits theaters July 27, 2018. Stay tuned to Batman News for all the latest on the underwater hero.
