‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ star Tom Holland wants to play Batman

The Lost City of Z - UK Premiere - Arrivals

Tom Holland will star in Spider-Man: Homecoming next month, with Michael Keaton playing the villain. In previous interviews Holland said he got some good advice from Keaton from his Batman days, and apparently that’s a dream role of Holland’s too.

In a new piece for Interview Magazine, Holland was interviewed by his Spider-Man: Homecoming co-star Zendaya. She asked which iconic movie role he wished he could have played, and his answer was James Bond and Batman!

ZENDAYA: I feel like I know the answer to this, but what role in an iconic movie do you wish that you could have played?

HOLLAND: James Bond. Or maybe I’ll do Batman.

ZENDAYA: It would be a little unfair if you got to play Spider-Man, James Bond, and Batman, Tom.

HOLLAND: It would be so unfair. But life isn’t fair, Zendaya.

At 21 years old Holland is a better fit for Robin than Batman at this point in his career. But what do you think of him taking over as the Dark Knight when he gets older? Let me know in the comments below.
