The Riddler, Catwoman, and now Killer Croc. These are the names you hear most when looking for news about possible Batman 3 villains. The Killer Croc rumor started around the time when Mark Millar tweeted that he knew who the villains were. He said that “one of the villains is from my favourite childhood run on the character. Very unexpected.” Killer Croc first appeared in 1983, when Millar would have been 14. Nolan adding the character would be “very unexpected”.
This rumor started picking up steam when it was suggested that the Batman 3 cast/crew would be heading to the swamps of New Orleans. Since then, the internet has been buzzing about the possibility of Killer Croc appearing in Nolan’s next Batman film. At first glance Killer Croc may not seem like a good fit for Nolan’s realistic take on Batman. However, his portrayal in Brian Azzarello’s “Joker” graphic novel would fit perfectly in Nolan’s world. In “Joker” he is just a big dark skinned man with scaly skin and sharp teeth. What do you think? Will Killer Croc be in Batman 3?
