Hans Zimmer is a man of few words when it comes to talking about his current projects. Zimmer has worked with Christopher Nolan on both the Batman Begins and The Dark Knight scores and is currently hard at work on something for The Dark Knight Rises. MTV.com recently caught up with Zimmer and tried to get him to talk about his latest work. He didn’t say much, but he did promise that his score for The Dark Knight Rises will be “epic”. Extraordinarily epic. Here is an excerpt from his interview with MTV:
The one thing I can tell you is that it’s going to be a lot more epic. Extraordinarily epic. I think there’s something in the core of the story that allows you to get the music much bigger and much more sort of, iconic.
Not huge news but interesting none-the-less. However, we should be getting some big news very soon. Yesterday, TheWrap teased a big story but they still haven’t posted it. Stay tuned to Batman-News.com — I’ll be sure to update as soon as that big news breaks.
Update: TheWrap’s news was “hot” all right. Turns out they were just looking to get hits. They just released an article titled “Nolan Fever” that offers no new information about The Dark Knight Rises.
