We got a teaser trailer in July with Harry Potter, and now it looks like the first full trailer for The Dark Knight Rises will debut on December 16th with Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Batman-on-Film broke the news earlier this week, and I’ve been able to confirm the story with my own sources.
December is going to be a huge month for The Dark Knight Rises! Not only are we getting the first trailer, but those lucky enough to have an IMAX theater nearby will be able to see the first six minutes of The Dark Knight Rises with Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. Mark your calendars, December 16th 2011 is a day that every Batman fan can look forward to. Now if only Warner Bros. would release another set of official stills to hold us over until then…
