Almost as popular as the game itself are the commercials during the Super Bowl. Companies pay millions of dollars to feature their advertisements during the big game, and they’re always entertaining. Unfortunately, we won’t be treated to an ad for The Dark Knight Rises this February. The LA Times published an article about movie studios who will be promoting their summer blockbusters during the big game, and confirmed that Warner Bros. will not be participating. They didn’t run an ad for The Dark Knight in 2008 either, but did feature one for Batman Begins back in 2005.
