Warner Bros. just confirmed on Twitter that The Dark Knight Rises tickets will be available on June 11th. We heard rumors about this date last week, and now it’s official! Head on over to your favorite theater on Monday, June 11th, and they should have tickets available.
On a related note, AMC announced that they will be hosting a “Dark Knight Marathon” on July 19th, leading up to the July 20th release of The Dark Knight Rises. It’s unclear if the marathon starts with Batman Begins, but I think it’s safe to assume they’ll be showing the previous two movies leading up to Christopher Nolan’s trilogy ending finale.
AMC also lists a runtime for The Dark Knight Rises — 2 hours and 45 minutes. This hasn’t been confirmed by Warner Bros., so take it as rumor for now. It’s very likely that this will be close the actual runtime, though.
