TV Guide reports that Michael Emerson, best known from Lost and Person of Interest, has been cast as The Joker in the upcoming animated movie Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2. The movie based on the popular comic book has been split into two parts, with Part 1 coming out later this month on Blu-ray, DVD, and digital download. Part 2 is scheduled for an early 2013 release.
Batman is voiced by RoboCop star Peter Weller, while Modern Family’s Ariel Winter plays Gotham’s new female Robin. Part 2’s cast also includes Human Target vet Mark Valley as Superman.
