New York Comic Con 2012 wrapped up last weekend and it was a great show! From what I read on Twitter, it was just as impressive as the big San Diego Comic Con that took place in July. There was a ton of Batman related news to come out of NYCC 2012 including a The Dark Knight Rises LEGO set, a Batman LEGO movie, lots of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 announcements, and even an interview with Jonathan Nolan about The Dark Knight Rises’ ending.
Of course a big part of any comic book convention is the cosplay. Fans spend months, if not the whole year preparing costumes of their favorite characters. The crowd in New York didn’t disappoint, and there were many fans dressed as Batman characters. Batman-News.com reader Kate Slomkowski sent in some great photos she took last weekend, and I’ve included some shots from Collider as well. Check them all out in the gallery below.
