A few weeks ago Latino Review reported who the villain would be in the upcoming Justice League movie, and now the website is back with another hot scoop. According to the site, 2015’s Justice League will be based on the Justice League of America comics — issues #183-185 to be exact.
Released back in 1980, issues 183-185 were the annual team-up for the Justice League of America and the Justice Society of America.
In a nutshell, plotwise, the three issue arc involves Darkseid planning the destruction of Earth by blasting it with a ray that’ll move Apokolips into the Earth’s place.
Christopher Nolan, Jonathon Nolan, and David Goyer used comics like Batman: Year One, The Long Halloween and Knightfall for inspiration in Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises. Now it looks like Justice League’s scribe Will Beall will be looking at comic book writer Gerry Conway’s work on Justice League of America. Are you familiar with his work? Is this a storyline you’d like to see in Justice League? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
