I received a lot of emails today reminding me that it’s the 5 year anniversary of Heath Ledger’s death. Ledger left the world too soon on January 22, 2008 due to an accidental drug overdose. He shocked audiences all over the world with his portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight. In 2009, Ledger was honored with a posthumous Oscar award for his chilling performance.
