‘Justice League’ script reportedly scrapped, 2015 release in jeopardy?

Badass Digest is reporting that Will Beall’s script for Justice League has been scrapped. For what reason? The site claims to be hearing the same thing from multiple sources — the script was terrible. It appears that it Warner Bros. may need to go back to the drawing board. They had hoped to release Justice League in the summer of 2015, but that looks very unlikely now. Along with script issues, Warner Bros. has been unable to hire a high quality director for their superhero team-up movie. We know that they originally wanted Ben Affleck, but he decided to pass. Perhaps he knew that the script was destined for failure?

Recent reports say that Warner Bros. is going to wait and see how the new Superman movie, Man of Steel, performs at the box office this summer before moving forward with any Justice League plans. And what does this mean for the future of Batman? It’s been rumored that Justice League would introduce the next theatrical version of The Dark Knight. We’ll have to wait and see if that still happens… so stay tuned to Batman News for all the latest news, rumors, and Justice League updates.
