Earlier today Game Informer revealed Batman: Arkham Origins, a prequel to the highly successful Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City video games. The game is featured on the May 2013 issue of Game Informer and is available for digital download right now. I just finished reading the article and wanting to share some more details about Warner Bros.’ latest Batman game.
As I mentioned, Batman: Arkham Origins takes place on Christmas Eve during Batman’s second year of action, years before the previous two games. Mob boss Black Mask has offered a fortune for Batman’s head, and top assassins and supervillains come to Gotham to cash in on the kill. Batman has to outsmart the bad guys, figure out why Black Mask wants him dead, and prove that he’s a hero… not just a masked vigilante.
Game Informer also released the first screenshots from the game, and I suspect Warner Bros. will be releasing even more very soon.
