New Batman: Black and White miniseries begins this September

Batman: Black and White is one of the best anthology series that the Dark Knight has ever had. The series was originally published in 1996 as a 4 issue miniseries and then it was revived in 2000 as a backup to the ongoing Batman: Gotham Knights comic. But this September, DC will release an all-new Batman: Black and White as a 6-part series of extra-large 48-page comics.

The series has a reputation for assembling some of the very best writers and artists in all of comics and the following solicit from MTV Geek proves that issue #1 coming in just a few short months will keep that tradition alive:

BATMAN BLACK AND WHITE #1
Written by CHIP KIDD, NEAL ADAMS, JOE QUINONES, MARIS WICKS, JOHN ARCUDI and HOWARD MACKIE
Art by MICHAEL CHO, NEAL ADAMS, JOE QUINONES, SEAN MURPHY and CHRIS SAMNEE

1:200 B&W Variant cover by MARC SILVESTRI
