Warner Bros. considering ‘Batman Beyond’ movie, reports BOF

Warner Bros. has been playing around with a lot of different ideas in terms of bringing Batman back to the big screen. From asking Ben Affleck to star and director the next movie, to bringing back Joseph Gordon-Levitt, or even Christian Bale — they’ve gone through a lot of options. According to a new report from BOF, the latest reboot idea is a Batman Beyond movie. Batman Beyond was an animated TV series which aired from 1999-2001. It featured teenager Terry McGinnis as a new Batman in a futuristic Gotham City. The original Batman, a much older Bruce Wayne, was McGinnis’ mentor.

So what would you do if you were Warner Bros.? Substitute Terry McGinnis with The Dark Knight Rises’ John Blake character (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and bring back Christian Bale as the retired Batman? Or start fresh and ignore the Christopher Nolan trilogy completely? Keep in mind this is just a rumor, but it’ll definitely be a fun one to discuss in the comments section below. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on a potential Batman Beyond movie!
