DC Comics’ Justice League of America to become Justice League Canada in 2014

“Justice League of America” will be renamed “Justice League Canada” in spring 2014 and will feature a new Canadian character. The heroes will head up north after an ongoing crossover comics event Trinity War, in which the current three Justice League teams clash, and the ensuing Forever Evil, in which the villains of the DC Universe take over. Here’s what writer Jeff Lemire had to say about it in an interview with the Toronto Star:

As a result of that, without spoiling any of that story, there will be major changes in the Justice Leagues, and in the spring, the current Justice League of America team goes through a dramatic change and some of the pieces that are left behind will evolve into this new Justice League Canada team.

The official announcement was made yesterday at Fan Expo Canada in Toronto. Head on over to the source link below for more info.
