We still don’t know who the villain in Batman vs. Superman will be, but with filming beginning early next year we’re bound to find out soon. While a role wasn’t given, Latino Review’s “El Mayimbe” revealed that Jackie Earle Haley recently auditioned for Batman vs. Superman. It’s easy to look at Haley’s bald head and say “Lex Luthor!” but that’s just speculation at this point. In fact, all you need is a bald head to be tied to the Lex Luthor role… just ask Bryan Cranston.
Jackie Earle Haley is 52 years old, though he looks much older (sorry Jackie). This has lead some fans to speculate that maybe he auditioned for the role of Alfred. Unfortunately for Haley, his audition didn’t impress the folks at Warner Bros… according to El Mayimbe, they didn’t give him a part. Haley previously worked with director Zack Snyder in Watchmen, and played Rorschach.
