“Futures End” will be an all-new weekly series debuting in May, 2014. The comic promises to jump 5 years into the future of the DC Universe and feature Batman Beyond for the first time as an official part of the DC Universe’s continuity. How exactly can Batman Beyond happen only five years into the future? We’ll just have to wait and see. This series will also explore the past and present of the DC universe with such characters as Frankenstein and Firestorm. Writers include Jeff Lemire, Keith Giffen, Brian Azzarello, and Dan Jurgens and the comic will be illustrated by such artists as Ethan Van Sciver, Jesus Merino, Aaron Lopresti, Dan Jurgens, and many more.
