Issue #0 was some zany 4th wall-breaking fun, but it’s this issue that’ll really show us what the Harley Quinn ongoing series will have to offer. The solicit states that this comic will have Harley joining the Coney Island Roller Derby. Now, that’s a clear situation with the promise of comedy.

Bruce Wayne just broke Erin McKillen, the woman who scarred Harvey Dent, out of prison. What’s their history together? What else don’t we know about the New 52 Two-Face? And is Carrie Kelly going to play any part in this saga because she was totally removed from the covers of the past 2 issues! What happened?

On sale DECEMBER 18 • 40 pg, FC, $3.99 US
RATED E • DIGITAL FIRST
Anticipation Level: TAKE MY MONEY
There’s a guest writer this issue and that makes me nervous, but Batman ’66 hasn’t steered me wrong yet so I’m going to remain optimistic. This is a great series and the promise of seeing Batman go toe-to-toe with the Bookworm and Olga, Queen of the Cossacks sounds like a lot of fun!
BATMAN BEYOND UNIVERSE #5
Written by KYLE HIGGINS and CHRISTOS N. GAGE
Art by THONY SILAS and IBAN COELLO
Cover by RAFAEL ALBUQUERQUE
On sale DECEMBER 18 • 48 pg, FC, $3.99 US • RATED T • DIGITAL FIRST
Anticipation Level: Interested
All the world’s technology rebels and it’s up to the Justice League to quell the uprising in Christos Gage’s half of the book and in Kyle Higgins’ portion we have Terry tracking down one of my favorite Batman Beyond villains, Shriek.
