I’ve been running Batman News for over three years now. I have a pretty good idea at this point as to which websites are reliable and worth reporting on and which aren’t. That’s why I was surprised to see a rumor from a website I’ve never heard of getting so much attention today.

The rumor of the day is that Denzel Washington will be playing Green Lantern in Batman vs. Superman, but that’s simply not true. From what we’ve heard so far, Green Lantern isn’t even going to be in Batman vs. Superman. Like every other great actor in Hollywood, Washington’s name has been tied to the role of Lex Luthor, but we’re still waiting for Warner Bros. to confirm if the bald Superman villain will even be a part of the project.
The moral of the story, don’t believe every rumor you see online. Batman News is the premier source for Batman vs. Superman news. If there’s a big rumor that has the possibility of being true, you’ll see it here. I don’t want to see fans get excited over something that doesn’t have a chance of becoming a reality.
