Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took time today to answer fan questions on Twitter. When asked if he’s ever been approached to by Marvel or DC Comics to play a hero or villain, The Rock said that he recently had a meeting with Warner Bros. and that they’ll be working on a DC Comics project together in 2014.
We just had a big meeting w/ Warner Bros CEO re: @DCComics 2014 we will partner up and create the cool bad assery. #RockTalk @ActionTilson

Update: The Rock deleted his original Tweet (probably due to a typo), but just reposted it. It’s embedded above.
Last month, The Rock tweeted a picture of himself with Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara and promised that they’d do some “big cool things” together. The Rock has been tied to DC Comics roles in the past, specifically Black Adam and Lobo. As far as we know, those projects have been scrapped and the only DC Comics movie that Warner Bros. will be shooting in 2014 is Batman vs. Superman.
This is all just speculation, but check out the shirt that The Rock was wearing when he promoted this Twitter Q & A session last night…
Do you think it’s possible The Rock has been cast in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel? What role do you think he’d be a good fit for? Let me know in the comments below.
