Danny Cannon has been chosen to direct and executive produce the first episode of Gotham. The show will premiere on FOX this fall, and tell the origin stories of James Gordon and Gotham City’s most popular villains. Gordon is still only a detective in the TV series and hasn’t met Batman yet. In fact, Bruce Wayne is only ten years old and will be a regular character.
Danny Cannon directed the pilots and was an executive producer on the popular CSI franchise. Check out his IMDb page for more. The pilot episode of Gotham is expected to begin shooting in March. Still no word on who will play Gordon, but stay tuned to Batman News for all the latest!
