Update 06/16/14: Now The Hollywood Reporter and Variety are also saying that Jason Momoa is Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. That pretty much makes it official, folks!

Jason Momoa has been linked to Batman vs. Superman since late last year. Since then, Momoa has denied having any involvement in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel. He even told MTV’s Josh Horowitz that he could punch him in the face if the rumors were true. Well… it looks like Josh Horowitz gets to punch Jason Momoa in the face!
Back in April Batman News exclusively reported that Momoa had signed a contract and joined the cast of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and now we know who he’ll be playing! HitFix reports that Momoa has been cast as Aquaman, and that Zack Snyder has already finalized his designs for the character so shooting can take place soon.
