4. A New Fighting Style
I think we’d all think twice about messing with Christian Bale’s Batman, but his fighting style was as grounded as the tone of the The Dark Knight Trilogy, robbing us somewhat of the fantastical fight scenes we’ve seen in other comic book movies (though that still doesn’t stop his battle with Tom Hardy’s Bane being one of the greatest fight scenes ever seen in a superhero movie). However, if Man of Steel showed us anything, it’s that Zack Snyder isn’t afraid of embracing the kind of over the top and edge of your seat battles which make us all love the comics! So, where to turn for inspiration? Well, the Arkham series of games would be a great start, and seeing Affleck’s Batman utilizing those types of moves in live-action would be an absolutely incredible sight to behold.
