Superwoman: Amy Adams gives her first class seat to US soldier

It’s always nice to see the heroes from comic book movies show extreme acts of kindness in real life. We’ve seen it with Christian Bale, Andrew Garfield, and now we can add Amy Adams to the list. The actress who will reprise her role as Lois Lane in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice gave up her first class seat to a US soldier who was sitting in coach on an airplane this morning. Jemele Hill, co-host of ESPN’s “Numbers Never Lie”, saw it all go down live:

“When we were waiting to board, I saw her glance the soldier’s way and then she said something to the person she was traveling with,” Hill told Today via email. “Once we boarded, I saw she was in first class. I was upgraded to first class and she was a couple rows behind me. I think she must have said something to the flight attendant, because before we took off she had vacated her seat and the flight attendant brought the soldier to her seat.”

Adams was leaving Detroit where she’d been shooting Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and was heading back home to Los Angeles.

Let’s all try to follow in Amy Adams’ footsteps… see if you can do a random act of kindness for a stranger this weekend!
