FOX (via THR) just released a gritty new TV spot for Gotham ahead of it’s debut tonight during the MLB All-Star game.
“This is my city. I’ve come back because I care what’s happening to it. Sometimes I feel like I’m the only one who cares. This town is at a tipping point: crime, corruption, ooze on every corner. Someone needs to take a stand against it all — and that is where we come in,” James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) says in voiceover as glimpses of younger versions of Batman characters like Oswald Cobblepott/Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), Selina Kyle/Catwoman (Camren Bicondova) and Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith).
The new TV spot is set to “Ticking Bomb” by Aloe Blacc. Gotham will premiere on September 22nd on FOX.
