I had heard that a “BIG” Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice scene would be filming from July 28th through July 30th, but I honestly had no idea what to expect. I’ll have more details later this week, but for now we have some photos and news from people who were on the set.
Major filming going on today for #batmanvsuperman in Pontiac! green screen, helicopters, and lots of security! #pontiacsoundstages

Our friend Banadoc was able to snap some photos which show off some major destruction on set. Take a look at some mangled Metropolis buses and cars.
All in all it looks like it was a bad day to be in Metropolis. #BatmanVSuperman pic.twitter.com/UkrdjvfZp3

Saw some other damage.. but probably not due to weather! #BatmanVSuperman pic.twitter.com/fP5Fo7rwBA

Not all of this destruction was planned, though. A thunderstorm rolled through Detroit last weekend and knocked over one of the giant green screens!
Looks like yesterday's storm did some serious damage to the green screens at the Pontiac studios #BatmanVSuperman pic.twitter.com/R3qdScmILj
