ScreenWeek caught up with Harry Lennix over the weekend for a new video interview. Lennix played General Swanwick in Man of Steel and will be reprising his role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The interview starts off with Lennix talking about the Batman/Superman announcement he made at last year’s Comic-Con and how he was cast in Man of Steel.
Around the 3:20 mark Lennix is asked what he can say about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Lennix is very vague because he signed a contract stating that he won’t reveal anything about the movie, but says that the script is great and very dramatic.
In a bit of a surprise, Lennix reveals that fans can learn more about the movie than he’s able to say by just going onto the internet. While he didn’t go into specifics, Lennix confirms that some of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice rumors that are out there are true. Lennix ends the interview by saying that he’s excited to work with Ben Affleck again. The two actors previously worked together in 2009’s State of Play.
