Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you’ve heard about the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. You dare a few friends to pour a bucket of ice water over their head within the next 24 hours, or donate money towards fighting ALS… also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The ALS Association said today that it has received $15.6 million in donations since July 29th. That’s up from $1.8 million raised during the same time period last year.
The Ice Bucket Challenge has gone viral on social media, with many celebrities getting into the mix as well. Ben Affleck, aka Batman, is the latest celebrity to participate in the Ice Bucket Challenge. Watch below as he gets a little help from his wife Jennifer Garner.
