After spending all summer in Detroit, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice crew is heading to Morocco, a country in Northern Africa. Morocco was rumored to be a filming location last August, and a Warner Bros. press release this past May confirmed that they’d be heading to Africa, the South Pacific, Michigan and Illinois.
Today’s news comes from Nassim Abassi, a film producer/director based in Morocco.
Yes!!! @ZackSnyder "Batman v Superman" film starts shooting in Morocco from September 1st until December 13! #BatmanvSuperman

It’s unlikely that Zack Snyder and the cast will be in Morocco for the three full months, they’re scheduled to shoot in Chicago, Illinois this fall as well.
Morocco is known for its architecture, beaches, and deserts. How do you think the country will fit into Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice? Let me know in the comments below.
