Margot Robbie has been tied to Suicide Squad for weeks, and now we know what part she was up for. According to Collider, Margot Robbie has been cast as Harley Quinn. This comes right after the news that Jared Leto is close to signing onto the movie as the Joker.
Margot Robbie got her big break last year in The Wolf of Wall Street, and has a ton of high profile movies lined up for the coming years. Suicide Squad would be another great one to add to the résumé.
Warner Bros. hasn’t made an official announcement about any Suicide Squad casting yet, but we can expect it soon. The David Ayer directed movie will hit theaters in August 2016, which means they’ll probably be shooting in the spring.
