Last month Batman News posted exclusive photos from the last Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice set in Detroit. A cemetery was built with the name “Wayne” featured prominently. Our source Bananadoc spotted old cars and a hearse, which hinted that it was a flashback to when Bruce Wayne’s parents were murdered. Now photos from a new set in Chicago all but confirm that we’ll be seeing the Waynes get gunned down in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice crew were photographed by Instagram user Dan Marcus, putting up shows on a theater marquee and bringing in old cars. The scene is expected to film around 7pm tonight, and could last until 6am tomorrow morning. “The Mark of Zorro” is the main attraction, and just happens to be the movie that Bruce Wayne saw with his parents in the comics before they were killed as they were leaving the theater. It wouldn’t be a Batman movie without a Thomas and Martha Wayne murder scene, and it appears like that’s exactly what we’re getting.
