Last month it was announced that Warner Bros. is making a LEGO Batman spinoff movie. Will Arnett will be back to reprise his role as Batman from The LEGO Movie and Chris Miller will be back to produce the movie. Empire caught up with Miller earlier this week, here’s what he had to say about LEGO Batman:
“Rest assured that every era of Batman filmmaking will be acknowledged. There have been so many interpretations of Batman and there is so much to play with there. There are 40 versions of his origin story alone.”
It sounds like Will Arnett is going to have a lot to play with… from Adam West to Christian Bale, and possibly even Ben Affleck. LEGO Batman is currently scheduled for a 2017 release.
