The Suicide Squad is heading to Canada! Global News reports that Suicide Squad will begin production in Toronto in April. The site says that cameras will roll from mid-April until the end of August, with filming scheduled to take place at Pinewood Toronto Studios and at various locations around the city.
Warner Bros. hasn’t made any official casting announcements yet, but with production just 5 months away they’ll have to make some decisions soon. Jared Leto is up for the Joker, Margot Robbie has already reportedly signed on as Harley Quinn, and Will Smith, Tom Hardy, and Jai Courtney are currently in talks for lead roles. Jesse Eisenberg will likely reprise his Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice role as Lex Luthor.
