Dan DiDio offers new Convergence details (video)

In a new DC All Access interview, DC Comics co-publisher Dan DiDio has spoken up, revealing some new details about their upcoming Convergence event and clarifying the nature of some of the stories.

Via Comic Book Resources:

One of the things that happened with DC and the New 52 is when we launched the New 52 and we had the ‘Flashpoint’ story that got us there — the stories that took place in the regular books ended rather abruptly, and I think that’s where some of the concern comes from for fans. You didn’t get the sense of closure you had with ‘Zero Hour’ or ‘Crisis.’ It left people wanting.

He goes on to reference characters such as Renee Montoya as the Question, Arsenal and his daughter, the Ryan Choi Atom, and a married Clark Kent and Lois Lane, but doesn’t give many details beyond that.  He does cite the sense of closure with Crisis on Infinite Earths and Zero Hour (which was more a soft reboot than a world shaking event, to be fair), so this may be closing the book on the old universe for the time being.

Convergence begins April 1st, 2015.
