It appeared that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice had wrapped up filming, with the final scenes shot in New Mexico. First we got an Instagram post from cinematographer Larry Fong, and then a tweet from director Zack Snyder a few days ago commenting on the entire experience. But a new casting call would suggest otherwise.
OneHeadlightInk.com is reporting that New Mexico company Midthunder Casting is looking for young boys, 10 and 12 years old, to portray Bruce Wayne a young Ben Affleck*. Extensive experience in martial arts is required.
Midthunder Casting is conducting a talent search for a Warner Brothers feature film which will heavily feature 10 -AND- 12 year old, Caucasian boys (SAG principal roles – to portray a young BEN AFFLECK) who have extensive WUSHU, KUNG FU, or PENTAK SILAT training and experience.
They will consider high level (state – world champion) competitors in all martial arts forms. Those qualified and interested must send photos and video clips of fighting skills, training and competitions, as well as contact info to:

***NO LATER THAN MONDAY MORNING 12/15***
Tip: Title your email with child’s age and type of Martial Arts practiced.
This is definitely surprising news. I’ll do some digging and report back with anything I can find out this mysterious young Bruce Wayne Ben Affleck shoot.
* Update: Perhaps I jumped to conclusions? The casting announcement just says “young Ben Affleck”, not Bruce Wayne. Warner Bros. is making a new movie titled The Accountant which stars Ben Affleck as a mild-mannered accountant who moonlights as a lethal assassin. Could that be what this casting call is for?
