As previously reported, Weta Digital, the visual effect company behind the Krypton sequence in Man of Steel, is coming back for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Collider caught up with Weta Digital’s Senior Visual Effects Supervisor Joe Letteri, and he talked a bit about Zack Snyder’s upcoming movie.
Letteri explained that his company did not work on the teaser trailer that was shown at Comic-Con last year, but that they are working on a “self-contained” sequence in the movie. Letteri wouldn’t give away too many details, but did say “you’ll be able to pick it out when you see it”. The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice talk starts at around the 9:20 mark in the video below.
When it comes to a self-contained visual effects heavy part of the movie… all I can think about is an epic fight between Batman and Superman! What do you think it could be?
