Mail Online caught up with Henry Cavill last weekend at the BAFTA Tea Party and asked him what fans could expect to see from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Here’s what he had to say:
“It’s Zack Snyder, so it’s going to be a visual spectacle. And it’s cinematic history. We’re doing Batman, we’re doing Superman, and it’s all happening at the same time. So fingers crossed it turns out to be as exciting as I think it is.”
Henry Cavill stepped into the iconic role of Superman back in 2013, and was asked if he gave any advice to Ben Affleck, who will be stepping into an iconic role himself.
“We’re talking about Ben Affleck here. I don’t need to give him any advice. The guy’s a legend, the guy does his own thing. He’s great. He’s fantastic.”
Good answer, Cavill. Hopefully Superman shows Batman that same level of respect when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
