Another day, another Suicide Squad rumor. The latest comes from Forbes blogger Mark Hughes. According to Hughes, Ben Affleck’s Batman will make a cameo in Suicide Squad in a scene involving Jared Leto’s Joker. This will set up a future solo Batman movie featuring the Joker, which will be influenced by the third issue of “The Dark Knight Returns”.
While Hughes hasn’t been the most reliable source in the past (often providing false info via Twitter), the fact that he’s reporting this Suicide Squad rumor in an article on Forbes gives it a bit more credibility. It’s not a crazy idea either. Batman making a brief cameo certainly makes sense, and is something that fans have been speculating since the movie was announced last fall.
