Scoot McNairy teases his ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ role

Killing Them Softly

We still don’t know who Scoot McNairy is playing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and his new interview with USA Today doesn’t give us a definitive answer. Still, the Argo actor offers up some new clues about his character in a cryptic reply to USA Today:

“It’s definitely 100% a character I’ve never played and I can’t speak too freely on it, but yeah, getting into that thing was definitely something I had to wrap my head around emotionally in order to play that character. But with that being said, I had a lot of fun doing it when I was in the process of shooting on it — my head was in a different place but I’m really excited to see how it turns out and what they do with it and see the film.”

McNairy went on to say that director Zack Snyder is “an incredible filmmaker and an incredible visionary”, and said that it’s awesome to be in a movie about the comic book characters he grew up reading.

Last summer Batman News shared an exclusive photo that revealed McNairy wearing green socks, hinting that his legs will be removed in post-production. Based on his comments to USA Today, it sounds like he may be playing a villain. Let me know what you think based on this new information in the comments below.
