Jesse Eisenberg never liked Superman, wants to play Lex Luthor again after ‘Batman v Superman’

The Double

Variety just published an interview Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Jesse said that he’d love to play Luthor again, and even admitted that he’s never liked Superman. Hopefully that means he’s on #TeamBatman. Here’s part of the interview:

You just wrapped playing Lex Luthor in “Batman v Superman.” Is your head still shaved?
I can’t say anything about this stuff. They want all this to be a surprise.

Do you think you’ll play Lex again in a “Superman” sequel?
I would love to. It’s a great group and director, and the most ideal character to play.

Were you a fan of “Superman” growing up?
No.

You weren’t?
I never minded him.

Did you watch the movies at all?
Oh, just to understand the context of this one. But no, not as a child.

Luckily for Eisenberg, there’s a rumor that Lex Luthor will have a cameo in Suicide Squad, so he’ll probably get to reprise his role very soon. While Eisenberg’s Luthor won’t be bald throughout Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice entirely, there’s an enormous amount of evidence that suggests he did shave his head bald for the role.
