Suicide Squad writer/director David Ayer continued to post some behind-the-scenes photos on Twitter last night. This time, Ayer asked the question “To canon, or not to canon?” before letting fans know that Suicide Squad won’t stray too far away from the comics.

The comic books he tweeted may give some clues as to what fans can expect to see in the movie. Ayer also commented on Harley Quinn this past week:

Suicide Squad is expected to begin production in April. Most of the cast is in place, though they still need a Rick Flagg. Tom Hardy dropped out of the role, and Jake Gyllenhaal decided to pass on it.
