Model/actress Cara Delevingne is seeing a psychotherapist to prepare for her role as Enchantress in Suicide Squad, Daily Star reports.
“She’s dedicated to doing her research for the movie and has been seeing her psychotherapist every day. Her character is very dark so she has a lot to learn about the way to act. To her, it’s hilarious because in real life she’s really cheery and laid-back, so she is struggling with the idea of playing a character so opposite.”
Comic Book Movie points out that in the comics when Delevingne’s character is not possessed by the evil Enchantress entity, her true identity is the kind-hearted June Moone. It seems like that characteristic will translate on-screen.
Daily Star’s report also says that Delevingne is a big fan of Suicide Squad director David Ayer, and that working with Will Smith and Jared Leto is a dream come true.
Suicide Squad is scheduled to begin filming in mid-April in Toronto. As always, stay tuned to Batman News for all the latest production news!
