Some fans were a bit skeptical when they heard that Hans Zimmer decided to bring in his friend Tom Holkenborg, aka Junkie XL, to write music for Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In my opinion, Junkie XL’s latest score for the Liam Neeson movie Run All Night proves that he’s the perfect guy to handle Batman.

Junkie XL has worked with Hans Zimmer many times in the past, including on Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Man of Steel, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. On his own he’s scored movies such as 300: Rise of an Empire, Divergent, and the upcoming Tom Hardy movie Mad Max: Fury Road.
